I have been asked "how did it go" by one of the few that follow this little blog, well that is not as simple to answer as I would like.
One, nobody was hurt or arrested so that was a Good Point.
Two, most of the Speakers were well prepared and got the message across (the call for a return to a Limited Constitutional Government).
Three, the people that did show up were very Sincere and Patriotic and really do want to Restore The Constitution or better said a Government that is Limited by the Constitutional Restraints that would make it Legitimate.
Four, I got to meet and hear Larry Pratt of G.O.A. as well as speak with him on a personal basis, A very nice and well mannered Gentleman. I thank you Mr.Pratt for attending and answering the call to duty.
For all this I am and should be thankful But, when I was out and promoting the Rally, talking with People and passing out Fliers the Response was very good outstanding even. A "LOT" of people maybe as many as Two Hundred said things like this is a great idea, or I've been hoping someone would do something like this and many said that they would be there. In fact I was surprised at how positive the response was. You see I live in a very PROGRESSIVE part of Texas and I actually thought that I would get at least a little bit of Flack from the Public at large.(Obumer carried the 27Th. District.)
And you can only imagine my surprise and disappointment when ONLY FIVE Men and some of them brought their Families ( wives and CHILDREN) these Men and Women I want to thank from the bottom of my heart.
But as far as the rest of my "Fellow Texans" I wonder if when the time comes, and it probably is coming faster than many realize when we the Citizenry of this State as well as the Country will be willing to Stand-Up as Citizens and Free Men and Women to the Government at the State Level as well as the Federal. I really have doubts as to the Sincerity not to mention the Bravery of People that would not make their presence known in a Simple Protest, and how much of the Talk of Patriotism is just that Nothing More Than Talk. People I am VERY DISAPOINTED IN YOU. You know who you are you are the ones that said what a Great idea that you where waiting for something like this, Well Y Had Yer Chance and Blew it. So when that time comes that we MUST Either Fight or Submit to this Government that no longer takes Your Rights and Liberty Seriously, just Remember that It all could have been avoided if You had been willing to make Your Voice Heard before we have to get to that point.

RTC RALLY BROWNSVILLE,TEXAS, IT´S ON
It´s on ladies and gentlemen, I have the signed permit from the ¨Palo Alto National Battle Ground Park¨ here in front of me the Rally is to start at 9:00 am on Oct.30,2010 and continues till 4:30 pm of that same day.
I have also spoken with Chief of Police Carlos Garcia of the Brownsville Police Department about Rules of Presentation for all Long arms (PLEASE NOTE BROWNSVILLE POLICE WILL BE ON SITE TO ENSURE THAT THE RULES ARE FOLLOWED AND PUBLIC SAFETY IS MAINTAINED AND TO ASSIST THE PARK RANGERS) these are the rules as follows:
1. NO OPEN CARRY OF HANDGUNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES THIS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED UNDER TEXAS LAW. Also for any person coming from out of state Texas law prohibits that your handgun ¨prints¨ while you are carrying.Handguns may only be carried by CHL Holders and CONCEALED. I will be checking to see which if any states have reciprocity with Texas on concealed carry.
2.Long Arms (rifles,carbines,shotguns) are to be Un-Loaded with chamber-flag or with the breach open and secured with a safety ribbon that will be provided and Slung to the Rear, Muzzle Down if Possible and Loaded Magazines are to be carried to the side or away from said Long Arms. PLEASE NOTE ALL FIREARMS ARE TO BE INSPECTED BY RALLY MARSHALS TO ENSURE THAT SAFETY IS MAINTAINED.
3.Parking is limited to the Paved Parking areas of the Park, the Park Supervisor has informed me that parking MAY be permitted to the paved area of the park roadway at a later date in the wider sections of the roadway.
4.There are motels in the area and I will update names locations with telephone numbers to these establishments after the weekend. BUT if people should use these establishments and car-pool from these locations (recommended) to the Rally site all Long Arms are to be inside cases that you would normally use while traveling. (Chief Garcia does not want us to cause a public panic at the motels or en-route to the Rally)
5.All TRASH AND DEBRIS WILL BE COLLECTED AT THE CLOSING OF THE RALLY.There is a dumpster on site at the park and the Park Supervisor has allowed us to use it and not requested we supply one for ourselves, your co-operation is appreciated and expected. As we may wish to do another Rally for 4-19-11 the real Patriot Day, the anniversary of Concord and Lexington.

When ¨The Government¨ Betray´s
When ¨The Government¨ Betray´s ¨We The People¨ by surpassing the authority that has been vested to it by the ¨Law of The Land¨ other wise known as ¨The Constitution of The United States of America¨ What are we to do in regards to this Government that is --¨No Longer Our Own¨.

RTC RALLY BROWNSVILLE,TEXAS
I turned in a application today with the National Parks service for a RTC Rally @ Palo Alto National Battle Ground Park just to the North of Brownsville.TX.
The supervisor seamed as though he was favorable to the idea of holding a rally there but he had to look at some logistical problems he had because of work that is scheduled to be performed around that date 10-30-10. I will keep everyone posted as to the outcome of the Permit as soon as I hear myself.

Weapons of Choice.A Personal Preference Part 2
Now for the Long Guns, inside ranges of 100 yards it is hard to out do a Shotgun and I am Fond of my Remington mod.870 Tactical, a Police Cataloged Item From Remington (legal in Texas) in 12 ga. extended Magazine tube of 7 rounds plus one in the chamber. I have added a Speed loader ramp to the receiver and can fully load this Shotgun in about 3 to 4 seconds starting from empty.This is a ¨Pump Gun¨and I have given a lot of thought of moving up to a Auto-Loader dressed out the same way. The Advantage to the Pump is ¨Dependability¨ over speed but there are some very Dependable Auto-Loaders available and I will have to study my options very Carefully before I would trade in my 870 for one of these and I will Probably just Buy another Shotgun and keep the 870 anyway. So I will in all Probability buy the Auto-Loader in 20 ga. going for lighter recoil and longer Range. The 12 ga is a more common round and readily available almost anywhere ammo is sold and there are some very interesting rounds one can use in the Shotgun depending on your State of residency. There are Flash-Bangs and Signal Flair rounds as well as Fletches and Fragmenting Rounds. And the manner of carrying Ammunition is versatile as well. There are the above mentioned Speed Loaders as well as Saddles and Pouches to Bandoleers on Slings and Across the Chest. And a shotgun is a very effective weapon in the right hands especially in urban bug out situations or in Heavy Cover. I do like the shotgun as it does have multiple purposes, Combat or Food.
Plus the Physiological effects that a Shotgun would have on any Bad Guys while they would be looking down the Barrel of a Shotgun are Dramatic I can assure you as having done so One Time in my life,having a Shotgun leveled at you is a very Uncomfortable experience and will cause Fear in Heroes and Fools alike and I am only alive to day because of someone else's poor Maintenance of their Shotgun, Their Magazine tube cap had not been re-tightened after a Cleaning or had worked it´s way lose and when the Person Fired at me from Point Blank Range the Shotgun Failed to fire because the Chamber of the Barrel was not tight inside the Receiver.
So on that note no matter what type of Firearms you decide to use study the Owners Manuel and ask a Professional or at least someone that you KNOW is Familiar with that Firearm Any Questions you might have about your Firearm.

Weapons of Choice,A Personal Preference,Part I
I am sure that many people like myself are sure that we in the United States have some kind of armed conflict coming our way. Exactly how large and the reasons why are debatable, weather it be because of an Economic Collapse or because of Governmental Oppression and/or a ¨Restoration War¨ most of us are sure a Conflict is Coming.
Many have been preparing for quite sometime now and others are just becoming aware. And there are as many opinions about which weapons are best for personal defense and for any offense that could be needed in any of the above mentioned scenarios. The choices are difficult with all the many different type of arms and calibers available to the public, Depending upon Your location and your inclination to stay within the boundary´s of the Law.
One thing I want to make perfectly clear I AM NOT A EXPERT, and this is not to be construed to be Expert Advice, there now the disclaimer is out of the way. I do and have done quite a bit of shooting. Still no Expert but not compleatly new the the world of Firearms either.
First I´m going to tell you the reader of this article some of the weapons that I have and the why´s of why I chose these particular Arms and Calibers. And optional choices that you can make if you don´t think you can handle the recoil or want a more Modern Firearm. Then I will tell you of the arm´s and calibers that I plan on Purchasing or would like to Acquire if Finances and Circumstance Permit.
One thing I have forgot to mention and this IS VERY IMPORTANT, ALWAYS BUY THE BEST FIREARM YOU CAN AFFORD EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO STREEETCH YOUR MONEY TO DO SO, YOUR LIFE AND THE LIVES OF YOUR FAMILY MIGHT DEPEND ON CHOICES YOU MAKE TODAY!
First is a pistol at this time I have a Kimber-Stainless II, 1911 in .45acp.see above, the best you can afford few if any 1911´s are made better the a Kimber without going to a custom gun maker. Stainless because it requires a little less maintenance, And adds a little weight to the pistol to help control recoil. Caliber in .45acp because it´s about the most I can Handle in sustained firing. And it is a proven ¨Man Stopper¨, through Two World Wars, Korea and Vietnam and is still in use by the U.S Armed Forces with Special Forces such as Seal´s and S.O.G., not to count the hundreds if not thousand´s of times it has been use in self and home defense. There are other options such as Glock and Sig but for me they have to long of a trigger pull and that messes up my Aiming if you can tolerate the long pull these might be better choices for you. Especially since they generally have higher capacity magazines. Other calibers for people who can´t support sustained firing of the .45acp could be the .40cal., the 9mm and the .38super, .380 or even the little .32 a Minimum cal. at best. I am not very fond of the 9mm because of it´s over penetration and noted lack of Stopping Power, there is Ammo in 9mm that addresses these problems but are not READILY available. Almost any .45acp weather it be HP or Round Ball will put down a man sized target almost every time.The same can not be said about the 9mm and there are Police Reports and Military Studies (see above Special Forces and SOG) to prove this. Although the Scavenging of ammo might make the 9mm more of an attractive choice, if that is your view then the 9mm might be the caliber for you.
Next I have a 2in. Rossi double action Revolver in .357 mag. this particular Revolver has rubber grips and for me is comfortable to shoot and I can use any .38 cal. rimmed case cartridge I can find if the need to Scavenge was to become necessary. With only 6 shoots available I purchased 2 speed loaders for a total readily available 18 round capability. and the Revolver is concealable. In a environment where that would be necessary a definite plus. There are two many options to go into the which is the better choice the Rossi is not the Best but at the time It was what I could afford and after 16 years I still have no burning desire to replace it. I also once had a S&W 686 in .357 with a 6 in. Barrel and if I was to look for another Revolver that model would be very high up on the possible choices. Not too many people realize it but the
.357 actually has a higher percentage of kills than the .44 mag. according to a copy of a Police report that I saw in a gun Magazine a few years back. I don´t remember which Magazine it was for sure but I think it was ¨Guns & Ammo¨ And the .357 is easer on the hands than the .44 mag had one a Rugar Super Blackhawk and liked it a lot, I actually ¨Shot it out¨with hot loads, I bent the Cylinder pin and sold it instead of paying for repairs.

Religion vs. Freedom
This is a about a posting by the Dutchman over at ¨Sipsey Street Irregulars¨ named,

First go Read the Post and Read the original article at Politico.com:and then see the comments at Sipsey Street a couple of people, not many would trade one collective for another.
Now I am going to Say what I think here because I believe somebody needs to say it.
First off I want to point out that I consider Myself to be a Christian in the Traditional Sense that I believe that Jesus Christ paid the price for my admittance into heaven or my Salvation if you will. You can belive what ever You will that is for You to decide.
I do try to understand what I read in the Bible and there are couple of things that I don´t understand, But there is something that I do see and That is ¨The Second Greatest Gift that God Gave to Mankind after Salvation, was and is the Ability to CHOOSE.¨ We are not animals, we have Thought Process, We are not Driven by Pure Instinct. This is less apparent in some than in others. But that ABILITY TO CHOOSE, Has also been Mankinds Greatest Burden.
But there is something else I see and that is that To Many times, through out History of Mankind, Religious beliefs have be used for Inexplicable Crimes and for the Control of Other People´s lives. And that goes for examples like the Crusades and Inquisitions and Jihad or to the Soviet Ukraine Genocide or Pol Pot in Cambodia, Conversion To or the Elimination of Faith.
Now My Question to You is,
Will You Be Free Men and Women or will you be just a Collective of Another Sort. I Choose FREEDOM and LIBERTY and I will stand with Any Man or Woman that will like wise Choose Freedom and Liberty for each in their own Manner.

Illegal Immigration and Anchor Babies
The following is Section 1. of the 14TH Amendment.
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
I would like to note at this time that even Foreign Diplomats and Persons with Foreign Diplomatic Corps are NOT under Jurisdiction and are Immune to Prosecution of State And Federal Laws Except in cases of Capital Crimes and Espionage. And that their Children are not Granted Automatic Citizenship.
There are ALSO Sections 2. 3. 4. and 5. that in some cases prevented the men that fought in the Confederate Army from voting or holding certain Elected Offices and Voided and Declared Illegal Any Obligation to Pay Debts or Damages of the War Between the States.
So from what I see Looking at my copy of the Constitution the 14Th was NEVER Intended to be applied to People that enter the U.S.A. Illegally or their Offspring. But was In Fact written to Protect the former slaves and to punish the the Rebellious Southern States. I don´t see the Fourteenth as being intended to grant Citizenship to children of parents who are in the Country Illegally, and doubt it was even a consideration.
To phrase this another way,When someone enters the United States Legally they put themselves under the Jurisdiction of the United States. And they accept to live by the Law of the land. But when someone enters The United States Illegally they have not agreed to accept that Sovereign Jurisdiction and there fore NOT entitled to the Full Protection and Rights of that Jurisdiction.
You see when a guest enters my home they are entitled to my protection, when someone enters my home without my permission they ARE Committing a crime and every thing that they do while in my home after that is Criminal, Including having Babies.
It is My OPINION that, It is the attitude of some people that would surrender their Rights and Personal Sovereignty, not even to speak of Their National Sovereignty for Well Being of Everybody that this Country is in the shape it´s in.
But of Course we will have to see how this ends up in the courts. If it gets that far. Only one thing for sure no matter how it end´s up, somebody is gonna be Pissed.
Just to make myself Crystal Clear, If I don´t invite you to my Home, or Give you Permission to enter, STAY THE FUCK OUT. If you do not have permission, a visa to go into an other Country stay out. When you do go into that other country you are not a guest but a Criminal.

I would like to note at this time that even Foreign Diplomats and Persons with Foreign Diplomatic Corps are NOT under Jurisdiction and are Immune to Prosecution of State And Federal Laws Except in cases of Capital Crimes and Espionage. And that their Children are not Granted Automatic Citizenship.
There are ALSO Sections 2. 3. 4. and 5. that in some cases prevented the men that fought in the Confederate Army from voting or holding certain Elected Offices and Voided and Declared Illegal Any Obligation to Pay Debts or Damages of the War Between the States.
So from what I see Looking at my copy of the Constitution the 14Th was NEVER Intended to be applied to People that enter the U.S.A. Illegally or their Offspring. But was In Fact written to Protect the former slaves and to punish the the Rebellious Southern States. I don´t see the Fourteenth as being intended to grant Citizenship to children of parents who are in the Country Illegally, and doubt it was even a consideration.
To phrase this another way,When someone enters the United States Legally they put themselves under the Jurisdiction of the United States. And they accept to live by the Law of the land. But when someone enters The United States Illegally they have not agreed to accept that Sovereign Jurisdiction and there fore NOT entitled to the Full Protection and Rights of that Jurisdiction.
You see when a guest enters my home they are entitled to my protection, when someone enters my home without my permission they ARE Committing a crime and every thing that they do while in my home after that is Criminal, Including having Babies.
It is My OPINION that, It is the attitude of some people that would surrender their Rights and Personal Sovereignty, not even to speak of Their National Sovereignty for Well Being of Everybody that this Country is in the shape it´s in.
But of Course we will have to see how this ends up in the courts. If it gets that far. Only one thing for sure no matter how it end´s up, somebody is gonna be Pissed.
Just to make myself Crystal Clear, If I don´t invite you to my Home, or Give you Permission to enter, STAY THE FUCK OUT. If you do not have permission, a visa to go into an other Country stay out. When you do go into that other country you are not a guest but a Criminal.

Five Cookies
A mother was contemplating a dilemma. Normally, she assigned cleaning the toilets as a grungy chore for misbehavior. But none of her five children had misbehaved enough to be assigned the chore, and the toilets really needed to be scrubbed.
Then she had an idea. She took five large cookies from a tray of leftovers from her latest ladies meeting, put them and a ziplock bag, and called all of her children to her. "I need the toilets cleaned," she told her children, "and I will give the five cookies in this bag to the one who cleans them." She then offered the task to her children beginning with the oldest. Each made an excuse: "Sorry, Mom, I have too much homework." "I promised my friends I would play ball with them." "I told Becky that I would come by." "I need to finish my school project today." Finally, she came to the youngest. He thought about the last time that he had to clean the toilets, and how the smell had almost made him sick. Then he thought about how delicious those cookies would taste. "OK, I will do it," the youngest told his mother.
He gathered the cleaning supplies, and went to each of the three toilets in the house, scrubbing them thoroughly. By the time he came to the third toilet, he was against almost sick from the smell. But he forced himself to finish, them reported to his mother that he was done.
Mother inspected the toilets, expecting to have to point out some areas for rework. She was impressed that her youngest had done a thorough job, not rushing through the task just to get finished. "You have done an excellent job," she told her youngest, "and here is your reward!", handing him the bag of cookies.
The child opened the bag of cookies, the delicious smell wiping out the nausea from the odor of the toilets. He started to reach into the bag for the first cookie.
"Not so fast," his father spoke. The father had come in the door from work just before the mother handed the boy the cookies, and decided he needed to teach a valuable lesson. "What were you planning on doing with those five cookies?"
"Eating them?" the youngest replied.
"Don't you think it is greedy for you to eat all five cookies?" his father continued.
"Not really, since I earned them," the son answered. "All of my brothers and sisters were offered the opportunity to earn the cookies. I only got the job because they refused."
"Regardless of that, we need CHANGE in this household. I cannot continue to reward selfish and greedy behavior in my house. Give me the bag," the father demanded.
The boy reluctantly handed the bag of cookies to his father. The father took the bag, and distributed one cookie to each of the siblings, leaving the smallest cookie in the bag and returning it to his son, who was in tears.
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need," the father quipped, repeating a quote he had heard from Barack Obama. He was so proud to live in a country that had elected Barack Obama as president, a country that valued fairness above all else, a country that would no longer excuse greed and selfishness, just because someone supposedly "earned" their money.
The lesson had been well learned. No child ever volunteered to do another task in the house, no matter how great the reward the mother offered. Once the oldest figured out that they could call human services if the parents ever did anything to punish them, and shared that secret with his siblings, they ignored the threats of their parents. No child ever did another chore, spending their days in idleness and fun. As each came of age, they proudly took their place in public housing and on the welfare rolls, continuing their idle existence. The father could not figure out where the mother had gone wrong with their upbringing.

The Divided States of America
I work in the "North East Coastal" area and I live in south Texas, Grew up in Indiana till age 16 then moved to Louisiana and started my career in the Maritime Industry, I mention all of this only to point out that I have seen a variety of the sub-cultures we have within this country we call the United States of America.
I have been saying for the last 3 or 4 years that this country was heading toward some kind of civil war, at first I didn't really mean a violent all out War but some kind of civil up-rising. But with the current events and the Intolerable growth of our Government I see now that I was wrong, VERY WRONG. There are to many people that are willing, no actually WANT to have this Big Brother Government watching over them, they feel safer I guess.
And then there are the people, who like me only want a chance to live their lives in peace and to be rewarded for the work they do and a chance choose what THEY will do with their OWN lives and not be bothered with the problems of other people that are none of their business anyway.
But the people who WANT Big Brother taking care of them, making their decisions for them and therefore have someone else to blame when their lives are in some kind of turmoil. These people can not be sustained without SOMEONE that works that produces, innovates and creates and advances our "nation" as a whole.
And now the "PRODUCERS" have been overburdened with the NEED and WANT¨S of those that don't want the responsibility of taking care of themselves of making their own decisions. I, and many like me have grown tired and we feel cheated and that our lives or the Self-Control of our Own Lives is being TAKEN AWAY from us because it IS.And now that we have grown tired of the burden of maintaining those that want to be maintained. And now that we want to throw off the load of those that are not our responsibility we are ridiculed and called Uncaring or Racist or Radical or any other name that is considered to be "POLITICALLY INCORRECT" what ever the hell that is. And this only serves to make us more angry,And more determined to be rid of responsibilities that are not of OUR own making.
And if the "Taken Care Of" Stop getting what they say is owed to them they Scream "Injustice" and riot and cause Mayhem.
These two different "Peoples" can not co-exist, and one way or another they will be divided and not just by social barriers but by Sovereign Barriers. So I do Believe with deepest sincerity that this "GREAT NATION" will be divided.And in all probability by a Bloody War as bad as or worse than anything seen by man.
I wish and pray that I am wrong but I see no other course for hard working self respecting people to be rid of the burden that has been placed on their backs by the irresponsibility's of those that want others to do for them.
